BTVI and Italian University Sign Agreement

The Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute (BTVI) and Marconi International University recently signed an agreement that seeks to encourage student and faculty exchanges and joint research opportunities between the two institutions.

Representing Marconi International University was its Vice President of International Relations, Dr. Laura Ricci and Professor Renato Bevilacqua. Marconi International University is headquartered in Rome, Italy with campus locations in Greece and Russia. A campus in Miami, Florida was recently opened.

Marconi was the first university in Italy that offered fully online degrees at the Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral levels. It has a number of key areas such as business, fashion and design, and cosmetology, which align with BTVI’s programs.

Dr. Robertson said, “We are delighted to be working with Marconi as they have developed a very strong brand in Europe and globally. This agreement with BTVI affords our students added opportunities to assess, as they consider their career plans.”
