Cat Island Air Evicted From Nassau’s Airport

Cat Island Air has been evicted from the Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA). The eviction is likely due to outstanding fees owed to the Nassau Airport Development Company (NAD).

The future of Cat Island Air, founded in 1987, seems in question at this time. A statement from NAD indicated that negotiations are underway with the delinquent airline. The airline offered flights to five islands – Abaco, the Berry Islands, Cat island, Rum Cay and San Salvador.
