Improved Water Supply On The Way

Barring any unforeseen circumstances or eventualities water should soon be flowing for everyone in New Providence, the Minister of Works and Utilities Bradley Roberts announced yesterday.

Mr. Roberts said that consumers throughout New Providence will recognise a distinct improvement in their water supply as the week progresses, as both barges, the Titus and the Dolphin and a third contracted vessel, the Clipper Legend, are all working around the clock to supply the island with water.

Operating at peak performance the vessels will be supplying 6.2 million gallons of water a day, equating to 65 per cent of the 9.5 million gallons used daily.
