Exuma Business Outlook To Explore Opportunities

Economic opportunities for Exuma will be explored at the island’s Business Outlook this month, where professionals from various sectors in the country will share their views on the future of the island.

The Exuma Congress, an exciting new community initiative, will also be introduced.

Under the theme”Restore Exuma: Sustainability There, Greater Sustainability Everywhere”, the seminar is scheduled to take place on October 27 on Great Exuma at the Sandals Resort at Emerald Bay.

The Counsellors Ltd. is the organizer of the event, and its president, Joan Albury, is excited to introduce the Exuma Congress to residents.

Nine speakers have already been confirmed for the event, including: Minister of State for Finance Zhivargo Laing; David Johnson, veteran tourism professional and incoming director general of Tourism; Floyd Armbrister, President, Exuma Chamber of Commerce; I. Chester Cooper, President&CEO of BAF Financial; Algernon Cargill, Director, National Insurance Board; Dr. Kathleen Sealey, Associate Professor in the Department of Biology, University of Miami; Sharlyn R. Smith, attorney-at-law, and image consultant Stacia Williams.
