Senior Citizens Enjoy Tea at Government House

A Tea party organised by the National Council Of Older Persons fed 70 seniors who are supporting the council’s activities. The event began at 3 P.M. on the balcony of Government House (BIS Photo / Gena Gibbs).

Jane Adderley models her Sunday best attire, equipped with an Easter Hat and pearls, that she said gives the older person a youthful feel and appearance (BIS Photo / Gena Gibbs).On April 11, at least 70 Senior Citizens in New Providence had afternoon tea at Government House and spent an afternoon of social interaction.  The event was organised by the National Council of Older Persons, as an annual social event that includes an older persons’ fashion show.
