Caribbean To Take Over New York

From June 5 to 11, the annual Caribbean Week event, hosted by the Caribbean Tourism Organization, is set to take over the Big Apple with the sights, sounds and flavors of the Caribbean.

The lineup of events ranges from meeting and incentive workshops on June 7 to the Travel & Cultural Fair in Grand Central Station on June 8, complete with a romantic Caribbean wedding. A fashion show hits the catwalk at the Arena on West 41st Street that evening.

A diaspora forum and a panel on Caribbean investment opportunities are set for June 9, followed by a marketing conference on June 10, led by Henry Harteveldt, vice president and principal analyst at Forrester Research, and Susan Black, executive vice president of global e-commerce for American Express Vacations.
