Celebrity Charity Concert Weekend In Grand Bahama

Recording artists and performers Clint Holmes, Blake Lewis, Didi Benami, Tim Urban and Prince Poppycock will all be performing at a charity concert and dinner weekend at the Grand Lucayan, Bahamas in Grand Bahama Island on November 11 and 12, 2011.

Each performer has selected their charity of choice that will result in seven charities all benefitting from the much anticipated weekend that includes philanthropy, musical performances, a poker tournament, dinners, celebrity meet and greets and local Bahamian entertainment, all taking take place at the resort.

General admission tickets for the two-day weekend event can be purchased at the resort. Individual tickets prices start at $50 per night and include a specially created dinner and show; VIP tickets are available for $75 per night and include reserved seating and a private celebrity meet and greet with the featured performers.

Friday, November 11:

• Kick-off ribbon cutting ceremony with celebrities and special guests, followed by a cocktail reception and dinner show. The concert line-up includes American Idol fan favorites from Season 9, Didi Benami and Tim Urban, (whose EP Heart of Me was released on iTunes last year) and a headliner performance by America’s Got Talent sensation, Prince Poppycock.

Saturday, November 12:

• Vegas phenomenon Clint Holmes will make an appearance early in the day at the “Shuffle Up and Deal” charity poker tournament at the Treasure Bay Casino and again later in the evening for his headlining concert performance. Holmes will be accompanied by his musical director, Jeffrey Neiman. Opening for Holmes is American Idol Season 6 runner-up, and beat boxing extraordinaire, Blake Lewis. Lewis was the first former Idol to score #1 hits on both of Billboard’s dance charts. His latest single “Till We See the Sun” is available now on iTunes.
