Caribbean Fisheries Forum Meets In Nassau

This is to advise that The Bahamas will host the Tenth Meeting of the Caribbean Fisheries Forum from 26 to 28 March 2012 at Breezes on Cable Beach, Nassau.

The Caribbean Fisheries Forum is the technical decision making body of the Caribbean Regional Fisheries Mechanism (CRFM) that is itself a CARICOM organization.  It is now expected that about 30 to 35 persons from overseas will attend the Forum, mostly heads of fisheries departments in CARICOM Member states, employees of the CRFM Secretariat, and representatives of other regional organizations associated with the fishing industry.

The Forum will open with a brief ceremony beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday 26 March at Breezes.  Remarks will be made by the Minister for Agriculture and Marine Resources Larry S Cartwright, MP.
