The murder count for 2012 was brought to 38 over the weekend when a man was shot and killed in the Kemp Road area, and another man who had been shot outside a nightclub a on April 1 died in hospital from his wounds.
According to reports the victim is a 25-year-old Nassau-East man who was walking when approached by two men in a vehicle and gunned down around 9pm on Saturday.
The murder count is following closely with that of last year, which led to a record-breaking high for the year.
