An Experience In Nassau

On April 4, 2013 my husband and I were visiting Nassau from a cruise ship.  It was a  very long walk from the ship to the Pier entrance.  My husband got slower and slower.

By the time we exited the gate, he was woozy.  He is a diabetic.  I got him to sit on a wall while I went to the food store to buy him a candy bar, in case his blood sugar was low.

By the time I got out of the store,  He was standing in the middle of the street, barely able to stand up.  A man was holding him  up. This very kind man helped my husband to the corner where I was  standing. We propped him on a wall.  Then this kind man disappeared  in the crowd before I could thank him properly.

I had to hold my husband by his back because he could not support himself.  The candy bar seemed to help but he never gained enough strength  to support himself.

A man who seemed to be the Director for the Taxi Service Tours realized my husband was very sick.  He went to the Pier Entrance to see if  someone could come get my husband with a wheelchair.  They could not. So the man got one of the Taxis to drive my husband to the Pier Entrance. There Pier Security took him with a wheelchair to the entrance of the ship.

What a scarey event.  Without the help of these  three Angels, who all helped freely and without reservations, my husband might have died.

We will be eternally grateful for their kindness and compassion
