Resort Offers Labor Day Special For Bahamas Tourists

Viva Wyndham Resorts is offering travelers who want to head to the Bahamas for Labor Day a special rate. From Sept. 3 to 6, guests can stay at the Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach on Grand Bahamas Island for $133 per person, per night, double occupancy, all-inclusive. Additionally, the resort is offering free snorkeling during the Labor Day holiday weekend through Oct. 31.

The recently renovated Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach offers 276 island inspired guest rooms with balconies and features 1,200 feet of white sands and crystal clear waters. As the only all-inclusive resort on the island, it is surrounded by tropical forests and parklands. Additionally, one of the world’s largest reef systems is located just off shore which makes for memorable snorkeling. The resort is a 45 minute flight from Florida and 13 miles from Freeport Airport.

The Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach also offers an eclectic blend of local and international culinary delights at its three restaurants. Junkanoo is buffet style and serves delicious international fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner. La Trattoria features world-class Italian cuisine a-la-carte style and Bambu offers Asian cuisine. Additionally, snacks and beverages are available throughout the day at the resort’s cocktail lounge and beach bar.

Guests can enjoy the new Viva Circus which offers thrilling acrobatic performances, stunts and interactive trapeze lessons. Other activities include scuba diving, natural-park and city marketplace excursions, jet ski rental, golf, cruising and fishing. Parents and children alike can also enjoy Viva Wyndham’s Kids Club, a supervised activities program for kids ages four through 12. The Kids Club is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and offers a host of age appropriate activities that kids enjoy including drawing and painting, windsurfing, mini tournaments, kayaking, volleyball, sandcastle building, board games, pool games, talent shows, puzzles, video games and face painting. For the older kids, ages 12 to 16, they can enjoy making new friends in the Juniors Club. Enrollment in the Viva Wyndham Kids Club and Juniors Club is free. All Viva Wyndham Resort properties offer babysitting services for a nominal fee.
