West Nassau Rotary Donates School Supplies

The Rotary Club of West Nassau, under the Presidency of Jeff Kerr, recently donated an assortment of school supplies to the Children’s Emergency Hostel along with John’s Department Store.

The West Club is a non-profit service organization and a member of Rotary International with over 1.2 million male and female members worldwide.  The West Club has 46 members from various professions.  The Club was founded in 1970 and completed a number of projects for various charities including The Red Cross, The Salvation Army, The Persis Rodgers Home for the Aged, The Ranfurly Home for Children, Unity House and The Children’s Emergency Hostel.

Rotary has over 1.2 million members; 33,976 clubs; 186,898 Rotaract members; 8,126 Rotaract clubs; 288,857 Interact members; and 12,599 Interact clubs.  The first Rotary Club was founded in 1905 in Chicago Illinois.
