A Zumba Escape on the High Seas

zumbaFreeport, Grand Bahama Island: ‘Rocks The Boat’ has become an annual must-do for many Zumba® enthusiasts in the South Florida area.  This year, residents of Grand Bahama Island can also join in the fun, with a local company, Maven Group, liaising with cruise organizers to spread the word.

The 5-day, Royal Caribbean ‘Liberty of the Seas’ cruise departs from Ft. Lauderdale on November 17th with stops in Labadee, Haiti and Ocho Rios, Jamaica.  There will be 10 Zumba® classes, an exciting sail away party, and other giveaways and social events planned for the scores of fitness lovers planning to set sail in November.

Gala Reitz, President of Sterling Travel Group LLC, has been organizing the event for the past 4 years.  “Every year it gets bigger and better.  So much so that participants are always asking about next year’s cruise even before disembarking the ship,” she said.

Maven Group is pleased to bring this unique event to the local market as part of its business and personal assistance services.  “Our aim is to promote innovative travel offerings,” stated company representative Deidre Rahming.  “Bahamians love to travel and what better way to combine visiting new places and health consciousness than through an all-inclusive fitness cruise?  It’s new and exciting,” she added.

Affordable rates have been secured for a wide range of cabins, from promenade to spacious balcony junior suites, with a $100 per/person deposit required to reserve a stateroom.  Companion passengers sharing a cabin with a Zumba® fitness cruiser can also take advantage of the discounted group rates and join in many of the specially-themed events.

Interested persons can visit the ‘Rocks The Boat’ official website, www.rockstheboat.com, or their FaceBook page, FaceBook.com/rockstheboat, for further details.  Additional information is available at Maven Group in the new Immerse Shared Spaces at Bank Lane & Pioneer’s Way in the GB Complex, telephone 602-5555.
