Thousands of Bahamians and visitors enjoyed The Bahamas National Trust (BNT) "Christmas Jollification" Arts and Crafts Festival, packing the wide pathways as tightly as Santa's Bag. Cacique International dreamed up and executed a remarkable theme again with gauzy, glittery sea critters hanging from the rafters of the Retreat Pavilion, giving an eerie feeling of shopping underwater.

The Bahamas Hotel Association (BHA) held their annual Awards Luncheon at the Radisson hotel on Cable Beach on December 3, 2004. The event coincided with an Authentically Bahamian Crafts Show and a silent auction of Bahamas travel and related items. The proceeds of the auction went towards charity and other BHA activities.

The Annual Grand Raffle & Fair at The Ranfurly Homes For Children is always a special event. Ranfurly is a learning ground, a place where loving memories take shape. Headed by a primary administrator, Ranfurly caretakers work with a team of social workers and psychologists to meet the emotional and physical needs of the children in their care. The Homes continue the legacy of founder Lady Hermoine Ranfurly, wife of the then Bahamas Governor General, the Earl of Ranfurly. Lady Ranfurly envisioned similar "homes" being established throughout the Bahamas.
