Executive summary: Following in a line of politicians, Mr Adderley
was elected for the first time to represent the Eleuthera District in the
House of Assembly from 1923-1925. He represented the Western District of New
Providence from 1928-1938. Mr Adderley was also the founder/president of the
Bahamas Civic and Welfare Assiociation, the Bahamas Amatuer Athletic
Association and St. Albans Athletic Club.
