The Most Exciting Musical Rabbit Holes of 2025—So Far

We’re nearly six months into Rabbit Holed and it feels like there’s a rabbit-sized hole in my brain thanks to all the wonderfully radioactive content I’ve consumed.

My Discord account is crammed with servers I can’t remember joining, my YouTube “Watch Later” and Instagram Bookmark tabs could win Guinness World Records for audiovisual chaos.

The document where I keep ideas for future stories looks like a web crawler got wasted and puked out a bunch of incoherent sentences.

Sometimes I have specific genres or trends in mind when I’m browsing, but often now I just give myself over to the thrill and terror of the scroll, surfing hyperlinks on SoundCloud and stalking random profiles in the hopes of landing on a shard of genius.

Here are some of those shards—the rabbit holes I haven’t been able to cover and might still at some point. Proof that there is new 2020s culture, no matter what the oldheads and the Twitter complainers say.
