While enjoying your Bahamas vacation there are hundreds of activities on land and sea to choose from, including numerous historic sites and attractions, island tours, art galleries and activities for everyone, from couples to children with families. If you are the adventurous type, you may want to participate in the more popular Bahamas activities like fishing, sailing, kayaking, jetskis, snorkeling, scuba diving, banana boat rides, wind surfing, parasailing or other watersports.
Casinos and night clubs are among the more popular nightlife activities on the major islands, while local bars and beach bonfires are just as popular an activity in the Family Islands.
Everyone from children to grandparents love the Straw Markets and native Bahamian craft boutiques scattered throughout the islands. For a memorable photo opportunity you can experience dolphins close-up, swim with them if you want. There’s also world class golf, photo tours, biking, hiking and hair braiding. Do a little island hopping. There are several excellent charter airlines, boat charters, even day trips and excursions to the Family Islands. In fact, there are more activities, attractions, sites-to-see and things-to-do in The Bahamas than can be done in any two week vacation. But that’s alright, you can always come back again.
