Baark! Bahamas is proud to announce they will be launching a mobile clinic to perform spay and neuter surgeries in Nassau and the family islands.
Baark! will concentrate first in Nassau when the mobile clinic launches in January 2022. Then, travel to family islands in late 2022 and into 2023.
The nonprofit organization has already spayed and neutered over 15,000 animals in The Bahamas. With the addition of the mobile clinic, Baark projects to perform between 5,000 and 7,000 surgeries per year! This will make a huge impact on the number of stray animals roaming the streets.
Baark! also runs an education program that will run alongside the mobile clinic on the weekends. Those who stop by will learn about animal welfare and responsible pet ownership. Consider donating or sponsoring this venture so Baark! can take their spay and neuter surgeries to the next level!
Baark! stands for Bahamas Alliance For Animal Rights and Kindness. Their spay and neuter and education projects reduce the homeless animal population and the suffering of cats and dogs in The Bahamas. Visit the BAARK website.
