Kendra Beneby and Jenelle Hollingsworth, two Bahamian models, are hoping to be contestants in the Caribbean’s Next Top Model (CNTM) competition. Both models left earlier this week for Trinidad and Tobago to undergo interviews and screenings as semi-finalists.

CNTM will soon release the names of the final contestants participating from 35 territories in the Caribbean. Casting has been going on since July 19, 2011. This is the show’s inaugural year and it was created under the vision of Miss Universe 1998, Wendy Fitzwilliam (the last Caribbean woman to hold the title) who will host also be hosting the competition.

The show will take place in Trinidad and Tobago and is scheduled to begin airing on December 5, 2011 at 8 p.m. on WSEE TV for an eleven-episode run.
